The smell of jet fuel, the intensity of sub-sonic speed, the danger, the drama, the excitement… it can all mean just one thing, the Subic Air Races! weiter lesen …
Ok, this really pisses me off. The other day I wrote about how my cousin, you know “THE” cousin that keeps bragging off to me? Well it turns out that she actually went out and bought herself an elliptical. (If you don’t know what an elliptical is, it’s one of those machines where you step on and stride forward and backward which tries to mimick a running motion.)
Anyhow, buying an elliptical is all fine and dandy but what pissed me off was she actually got an elliptical from one of the companies that I’ve been trying to get a treadmill from but couldn’t due to my increasing not so well paying marketing job. So she went and spoiled herself with a Sole E95 that costs a whopping $1700 smackers. I dunno how she could afford it since shipping internationally alone would be out of her budget if I had to guess. Sigh…there she is losing pounds while I’m losing sleep since I can’t even afford the Sole E35 elliptical. I guess this is life huh.
You probably don’t know this, well actually I’m sure you don’t know this because I haven’t written this on my blog.
I’m actually one quarter German. That’s right. My grandfather was actually a German. Now this may come of shock to some of you (or maybe not) but I never gave it much thought until recently. Why recently you ask? Well, one of my cousins that lives in Germany just sent me a letter the other day. Yes, letter of the snail mail variety…can’t believe people still use those things in this day and age.
Off topic, but anyways, that letter was basically about her bragging about herself about how she had lost so much weight and looks oh so nice. Now I’m happy that she lost weight and all and as we’re family, I should technically be happy for her but the feeling I got from that letter was that she’s just bragging. Yes, utterly showing off about the amazing weight loss she had … so the end effect is that I’m now in a crappy mood despite going to the gun parade.
Well, if I had enough money saved up to buy a nice treadmill like the the Sole TT8 treadmill then I probably would be motivated to workout. But since my marketing job barely provides enough for my rent and my daily expenses, I don’t even think I can afford something cheaper like the Sole F80 treadmill. Must save up some cash…and I’ll show her!
